Casa Framing is permitted to work all over the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley area. Our company covers the liability up to $5 Million. Over the past 10 years, we have completed multiple large-scale projects throughout the Lower Mainland, including 1000s of residential units from Abbotsford to Powell River, BC.
About the Opportunity
We are growing and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Foreman and a Team Leader to join our team in Surrey, BC on a full-time basis. Our job sites are located all throughout the Lower Mainland, including cities such as Surrey, North Vancouver, Vancouver, White Rock and Maple Ridge.
Reporting to the Project Manager, as well as the Construction Manager you will be responsible for supervising and managing CFC employees and subcontractors to complete projects on schedule and on budget.
More specifically, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Scheduling deliveries
• Organizing site materials
• Maintaining site inventories
• Instructing workers
• Creating day plans
• Attending meetings
• Inspecting completed and ongoing work
• Teaching and enforcing safety standards
• Updating progress reports
• Monitoring budgets
• Communicating with other trades and supervisors
• Assisting physically with projects as required
About You
To qualify for the Foreman position, you will need a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry. This role requires previous framing experience and a Valid Drivers License.
As our ideal candidate, you have excellent leadership skills, written and verbal communication skills, and can give clear and precise instruction. You can work effectively with others and independently and have strong organizational skills. You have a thorough knowledge of general wood frame construction processes, detailed knowledge of typical wood frame construction assemblies, and a comprehensive understanding of framing tools. Moreover, you are comfortable working with smartphones and computers. Familiarity with cranes, forklifts, and aerial lifts are an asset, training is available.
